U.S. Green Building Council;s (USGBC) LEED Green Building Rating System – GeoGreen sealants and adhesives fall into two of the five key areas of human and environmental health: 

• Energy & Atmosphere (EA) Prerequisite 2 – Minimum Energy Performance (Required) and Credit 1 – Optimize Energy Performance (1-10 pts)

• Indoor Environmental Quality (EQ) Credit 3.1 Construction IAQ Management Plan, During Construction (1 pt) and Credit 4.1 Low-Emitting Materials, Adhesives & Sealants (1 pt)

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Model GREEN Home Building Guidelines –  GeoGreen products are applicable to these guidelines: 

• Section 3 Energy Efficiency, Item 3.3.1 Building Envelope (PP) B – Incorporate Air Sealing Package to Reduce Infiltration (10 pts)

• Section 7 Global Impact, Item 7.1.3 Use Low-VOC Sealants (5 pts)
